How Points Work
At Fantasy Header Goal, we’ve designed a comprehensive point system that rewards various aspects of player performance. Understanding this system is key to building a successful fantasy team and making strategic decisions throughout the season.
Points are calculated based on real-life match statistics and are updated live as games progress. Our point system is designed to reward both attacking and defensive contributions, ensuring balanced team selection is encouraged.
Forwards & Midfielders

Bonus Points
In addition to the standard point system, Fantasy Header Goal awards bonus points to the top-performing players in each match:
- 3 points – Awarded to the best performer in the match
- 2 points – Awarded to the second-best performer in the match
- 1 point – Awarded to the third-best performer in the match
Bonus points are calculated using a comprehensive statistical model that analyzes over 30 different events that occur during matches.
This system considers various factors such as:
- Goals and assists
- Key passes and chances created
- Successful tackles and interceptions
- Completed passes and successful dribbles
- Saves and clean sheets
Point Updates
Points are updated live during matches, with final adjustments made after all matches in a gameweek are completed. This includes the addition of bonus points and any statistical corrections from official sources.
